Warning over November cost of living payment – DWP say you may not get your £324

The date has been announced for when Brits are expected to start receiving their second cost of living payment by the DWP – however many could find that their cash boost takes longer to arrive.

Households will begin to receive their payment of £324 from November 8 – the second instalment of the £650 cost of living payment – to help claimants with rising energy bills.

However, the Department for Work and Pensions has revealed that it “will pay a small number of payments on the 8 November, with numbers increasing significantly from the 9 November.”

Many payments may also take weeks as the DWP has claimed that the latest date people will receive the payment boost could be November 23.

Among those set to receive this payment are those claiming Universal Credit, Jobseekers’ Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support and Pension Credit.
