A black SUV drove into an Apple store, reportedly killing one person and trapping and injuring other customers.
The vehicle plowed into the Apple store at the Derby Street Shops in Hingham, Massachusetts, shortly before 11am on Monday.
One person died and up to 14 people were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals, The Patriot Ledger reported. At least four of the victims were in critical condition.
The SUV created a massive hole on the glass front of the store. The vehicle was lodged against the back wall of the store, trapping customers inside, according to the newspaper. Police called for a tow truck to remove it.
Multiple people were outside the store receiving treatment from dozens of first responders. A medic helicopter was dispatched to the scene.
